Entered in only 2 shows - both AACA National meets this Ford earned a first (prize) both times, an AACA First Junior in 1993 and an AACA First Senior at the Fall Hershey meet in 1994. These awards attest to the quality of this restoration. Driven only 213 miles since, it is showroom fresh in every respect. The body contours and alignment are excellent, the doors shut properly and the proper Cordoba Tan single stage acryllic enamal paint has a deep flawless shine. The LeBaron Bonney seats are correctly upholstered in brown imitation leather and show no perceptible wear. The Banjo steering wheel is properly restored as are the instruments.
The brown top and matching body are also LeBaron Bonney and are excellent. The engine compartment features the original 85 hp 221 CID flathead V-8 and is nicely presented and correctly detailed. Meticulously maintained this 1936 shows that is has been well cared for by its sincere 25 year owner.
